The Arcadia Apaches are taking a road trip to square off against the Bonita Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arcadia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Arcadia is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering La Mirada just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Matadores by a score of 7-5.

Arcadia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Manzo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bonita, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past Ayala 5-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bearcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Adam Raab looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carlos Arredondo, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dominic Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Arcadia's loss dropped their record down to 24-3. As for Bonita, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Bonita's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Arcadia has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .459. It's a different story for Bonita, though, as they've only averaged .360. Will they be able to contain Arcadia's hitters?

Arcadia was able to grind out a solid victory over Bonita in their previous matchup back in February, winning 6-1. Will the Apaches repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
