Basketball Recap: Chalmette Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eleanor McMain last Friday, Chalmette came back down to earth. The Chalmette Owls took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles on Saturday. The Owls were up 35-21 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Chalmette's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Warren Easton, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

Chalmette will venture away from home to face off against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Warren Easton and West Jefferson will compete for holiday cheer at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
