Beekmantown Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Parker Broughton

Beekmantown picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Parker Broughton. Broughton rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

Beekmantown's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Broughton and Beekmantown will head out on the road to challenge AuSable Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dominic Deangelo Delivers Electric Performance Vs Beekmantown

Plattsburgh had to settle for second on Friday, but Dominic Deangelo sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Deangelo was still balling out as he picked up 184 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.

Plattsburgh moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Deangelo and Plattsburgh will head out on the road to face off against Saranac Lake at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Wyatt Bridges Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Wyatt Bridges posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He is becoming a predictor of Peru's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

The victory (which was Peru's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Bridges and Peru are taking a road trip to challenge Moriah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
