Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wilson Creek last Saturday, Bridgeport came back down to earth. The Bridgeport Mustangs fell 62-50 to the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bridgeport fell to 5-1. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Bridgeport will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Entiat at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions challenge the Odessa Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Odessa will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
