Volleyball Game Preview: Appoquinimink Jaguars vs. Dickinson Rams

Appoquinimink is on a 16-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dickinson is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Jaguars will welcome the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Appoquinimink is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Odyssey Charter, who was ranked 12th at the time (Appoquinimink was ranked third). The Jaguars blew past the Owls 3-0 on Thursday.

Appoquinimink was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Dickinson got the win against DuPont on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dickinson now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Appoquinimink, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.
