Volleyball Recap: Madison County Takes a Loss

Madison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hart County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on August 12th.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Madison County sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 15-8.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Hart County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Madison County will square off against Flowery Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hart County, they will welcome Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
