Soccer Recap: Sarasota Takes a Loss

Sarasota entered their matchup against Parrish Community on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Sarasota Sailors fell just short of the Parrish Community Bulls by a score of 3-2. Sadly, that's the two time they've come up short against the Sailors, as the also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in November.

Sarasota's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3-1. As for Parrish Community, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

Sarasota will venture away from home to challenge Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Stephen's Episcopal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season. As for Parrish Community, they will host Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
