Basketball Game Preview: Clearfield Falcons vs. Bountiful RedHawks

Clearfield is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Bountiful is on a eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Clearfield Falcons will host the Bountiful RedHawks at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Clearfield is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Roy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Clearfield blew Roy out of the water with a 61-33 final score.

It was another big night for Isabelle Wyaskett, who went 6 of 15 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Xiyah Yarbrough, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 10 points along with five boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Bountiful was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Bonneville 67-28. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-12.

Clearfield better keep an eye on Milika Satuala. She was instrumental in Bountiful's win, putting up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Harvey, who posted 14 points.

Clearfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Bountiful, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
