Monroe-Woodbury proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pine Bush Bushmen, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Monroe-Woodbury as they're now sitting on six straight.

Monroe-Woodbury's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Pine Bush, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 13-2 record.

Monroe-Woodbury and Pine Bush should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Crusaders (ranked 23rd) will meet Newburgh Free Academy (ranked 363rd) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
