Volleyball Recap: Rancho Falls to Moapa Valley in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Rancho kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Moapa Valley Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Rancho was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.

With the win, Moapa Valley broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Rancho has already played their next matchup (against Mojave), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Moapa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against The Meadows School on the 21st.
