Volleyball Recap: Rancho Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Rancho had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Moapa Valley Pirates. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

While Rancho was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.

With the win, Moapa Valley broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Rancho has already played their next match (against Mojave), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Moapa Valley, they will square off against Boulder City at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th.
