Softball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colbert Heights Wildcats, falling 25-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Thursday.

Sheffield's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Colbert Heights, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Colbert Heights beat Sheffield by a score of 28-0 later that day.
