With a playoff win on the line, St. Joseph Regional rose to the challenge on Saturday. They breezed past the Delbarton Green Wave to the tune of 35-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Green Knights had established a 28-point advantage.

St. Joseph Regional's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stalin Knowlden led the charge by picking up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground. Lamar Best was another key passer, throwing for 249 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes.

St. Joseph Regional's run defense was locked in: Delbarton could only muster 0.8 yards per carry. While two picked up at least seven total tackles, Cameron Aime stood above the rest. He picked up 2.5 sacks and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). St. Joseph Regional's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 2.9.

St. Joseph Regional's defense didn't let Gavin Gilardi, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. Aime was especially locked on to Delbarton's QB and sacked him 2.5 times. Tahj Gray was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making seven total tackles (2.5 for loss), and defending one pass.

The win was the fourth in a row for St. Joseph Regional, bringing their record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.8 points over those games. As for Delbarton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
