While Cedar Springs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 46-36 victory over Lowell on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Meanwhile, Coopersville posted their closest win since January 9, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sparta 55-52.

Coopersville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Cedar Springs, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
