Basketball Recap: Banner Christian Triumphs

Banner Christian's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Cristo Rey Royals out 59-57. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Banner Christian considering their 22-point performance the match before.

The win got Banner Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Cristo Rey, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banner Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Collegiate at 1:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Cristo Rey and Hopewell will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
