Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Trinity walked away with it. They came out on top against the Timberlane Owls by a score of 4-1 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Timberlane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12-1 record this season.

Trinity will challenge Exeter on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.4, the Blue Hawks 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Timberlane does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
