In what's become a running theme this season, Elbert gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. Everything went their way against the Calhan Bulldogs as the Elbert Bulldogs made off with a 10-4 win. With that victory, Elbert brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Steven Smith made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Smith was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI.
