East Henderson is 0-6 against Tuscola since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East Henderson is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Pisgah on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of the Bears. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 36-3, which was the final score in Tuscola's tilt against Brevard on Friday. The game marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Tuscola saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sam Trantham rushed for 192 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Trantham is now averaging an impressive 108.8 rushing yards per game.

East Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Tuscola, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
