Baseball Recap: Spencer County Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

There's no place like home for Spencer County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Perry County Central Commodores 6-4.

Spencer County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Perry County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.

Spencer County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Commodores: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
