Basketball Recap: Oldenburg Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oldenburg Academy can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 40-39 to the South Decatur Cougars. The Twisters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 45-27.

Oldenburg Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for South Decatur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Oldenburg Academy nor South Decatur have any future games scheduled.
