Basketball Recap: South Garland Comes Up Short

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 67-50 to the Wylie East Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1075th, while the Raiders are ranked 409th).

South Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Wylie East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

South Garland and North Garland will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie East will take on Rowlett in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
