Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Crystal Springs Uplands

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Galileo, Crystal Springs Uplands was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles 55-53. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Gryphons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Crystal Springs Uplands' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Remy Tyler, who made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Diaz, who posted 14 points.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Clement, who scored 14 points. The dominant performance gave Clement a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Mussie Gebrehanna, who had 13 points.
