Softball Recap: Valley Catholic Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Valley Catholic posted their closest win since April 17th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the North Marion Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Valiants also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2017.

Valley Catholic's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for North Marion, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Valley Catholic will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Portland Adventist Academy at 4:30 p.m. As for North Marion, they will head out on the road to challenge Stayton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
