It was a good run, but Harrison unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Cartersville Hurricanes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hoyas of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Harrison lost, don't look at Addison Cooley. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two assists.

Mckenzie Wilkie was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and two aces.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cartersville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Harrison will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Allatoona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cartersville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Alpharetta on the 9th.
