Alamogordo is 10-0 against Deming since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Alamogordo Tigers duke it out with the Deming Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Deming took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Alamogordo, who comes in off a win.

Alamogordo is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Cathedral: they outscored them in every quarter. Alamogordo greeted the New Year with with a 48-30 win over Cathedral. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 59th in New Mexico, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 1062nd in Texas), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Deming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Mayfield, falling 75-27.

Alamogordo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Deming, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Alamogordo took their victory against Deming in their previous matchup last Friday by a conclusive 65-42. In that matchup, Alamogordo amassed a halftime lead of 39-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
