Football Game Preview: Thomasville Tigers vs. Dallas County Hornets + Official Tickets

The Thomasville Tigers will square off against the Dallas County Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Thomasville took on Hale County on Friday. The Tigers fell 42-35 to the Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Dallas County was beaten by Thorsby 54-8 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Rebels are ranked 170th).

Thomasville will have to contain Kentrell Hamilton as he made an impact in Dallas County's last game. He rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 36 receiving yards.

Dallas County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Thomasville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Thomasville against Dallas County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 47-0 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
