Basketball Recap: St. Amant Beats Central Lafourche for Their Third Straight Win

St. Amant entered their tilt with Central Lafourche on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Central Lafourche Trojans by a score of 65-55. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 58-50 loss the last time these two teams met.

St. Amant is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Central Lafourche, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

St. Amant will be home for the holidays to greet Brother Martin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Amant knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Brother Martin likes a good challenge. As for Central Lafourche, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Paul's at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
