Tolar took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Breckenridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rattlers had just enough and edged out the Buckaroos 5-4 on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Rattlers, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Tolar saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Michels, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Tolar's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-11. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Breckenridge, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.

Tolar will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buckaroos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
