After a string of four wins, Siuslaw's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Bend Bulldogs. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Siuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for North Bend, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Siuslaw will take on Santiam Christian in a tournament on Thursday. One thing working in Santiam Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for North Bend, they will host Creswell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
