Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Kenosha Christian Life

Kenosha Christian Life waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against Madison Country Day by a score of 2-0.

Kenosha Christian Life found their leader in freshman Sophia Pereira, who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Pereira. Emma Vos also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Kenosha Christian Life was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They are 5-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Kenosha Christian Life's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Madison Country Day, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Kenosha Christian Life and Madison Country Day will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to face off against their familiar foe Messmer at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Madison Country Day will challenge rival Johnson Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
