Soccer Recap: Goldsboro Takes a Loss

Goldsboro fell victim to Wayne Preparatory Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals.

Goldsboro has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-4 record this season. Wayne Preparatory Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9-3.

Goldsboro and Wayne Preparatory Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Cougars see the pitch they'll take on Spring Creek at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, their break will end when they face Living Water Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
