Baseball Recap: Miami Valley Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Miami Valley Christian Academy lost against Dayton Christian back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions lost 8-2 to the WARRIORS. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miami Valley Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Bowling, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Miami Valley Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Dayton Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Valley Christian Academy will head out to face off against Purcell Marian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dayton Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Emmanuel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
