Soccer Game Preview: Argyle vs. Grapevine

The Argyle Eagles will head out to challenge the Grapevine Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Argyle will be strutting in after a win while Grapevine will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Argyle had just enough and edged Richland out 2-1. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Royals are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Grapevine fell victim to Colleyville Heritage and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Argyle's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Grapevine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-3.
