Football Recap: North Lenoir Takes a Loss

North Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the North Pitt Panthers, falling 28-0.

North Pitt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryce Cox led the charge by throwing for 229 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 50 yards. Juhron Clemmons was another key back, rushing for 180 yards on only 13 carries.

North Lenoir's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for North Pitt, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
