Baseball Recap: Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Houghton Lake

Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 16-1 to the Houghton Lake Bobcats.

Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zephan Carlson-Conner, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will venture away from home to take on Nouvel Catholic Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houghton Lake, they will square off against Farwell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
