Basketball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 54-29 to the Valley Heights Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Mustangs are ranked 49th).

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Valley Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frankfort will head out to face off against Axtell on Monday. As for Valley Heights, they will head out on the road to challenge Blue Valley on Tuesday.
