There's no place like home for Grant Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Elgin Huskies with a sharp 28-1 win on Friday. The Prospectors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

Grant Union is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Elgin, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grant Union beat the Huskies by a score of 23-3 later that day.
