Spokane lost to Galena back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Spokane was the clear victor by a 29-19 margin over Galena.

Spokane got a massive performance out of Sarah Essick, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Lilly Carr, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Spokane always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

The victory got Spokane back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spokane will square off against Marionville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galena, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Fordland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
