Meanwhile, Mark Morris posted their closest victory since September 11th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Hockinson 3-2. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mark Morris' victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Ridgefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Everything went Ridgefield's way against Mark Morris in their previous matchup back in September, as Ridgefield made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spudders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
