Volleyball Recap: Covenant Classical Cavaliers vs. Victory Christian Academy Patriots
Covenant Classical was the 2-0 winner over Victory Christian Academy when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers came up short against the Patriots on Monday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cavaliers haven't been shut out since back in September.
While Covenant Classical was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.
Leading Victory Christian Academy to victory were Anderli Stanford and Natalee Caraway. Stanford had four digs and three aces, while Caraway had seven digs and three aces. Stanford is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.
