Volleyball Recap: Soledad Comes Up Short

Soledad lost against Alisal on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Aztecs fell 3-1 to the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 15-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Soledad has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Alisal, they pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Soledad will square off against rival Watsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alisal is set to take on their familiar foe Gonzales at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
