Football Recap: Galva Takes a Loss

If Galva was feeling good fresh off their 62-12 takedown of Peoria Heights last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats were beaten by the Flanagan/Woodland Falcons 60-25 on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Leelynd Durbin was a one-man wrecking crew For Flanagan/Woodland. as he rushed for 116 yards and one score.

Galva now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Flanagan/Woodland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Galva will take on rival Bushnell-Prairie City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Flanagan/Woodland is set to challenge their familiar foe Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
