Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Meadows School, Sports Leadership & Management was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They managed a 67-63 win over the Reynolds Raiders.

Alaijah Young continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 for 17 on his way to 29 points and six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sports Leadership & Management's points. Xavior Ventura was another key player, putting up 11 points and three blocks.

Sports Leadership & Management now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Reynolds, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Sports Leadership & Management wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-48 defeat against Sabino on the 19th. As for Reynolds, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-25 victory against Southeast Career Tech on the 19th.
