Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookville). They blew past the Heritage Pioneers 18-1 on Tuesday. The Bees have beaten the Pioneers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pioneers has come to flipping the script.

Brookville got a great performance from Dylan Guill as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Guill a new career-high.

At the plate, Mason Coleman was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Kam McDaniel, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Brookville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .628. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brookville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

As of now, neither Brookville nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
