Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Comes Up Short

Copper Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Uintah Utes. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their loss to the Utes from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

While Copper Hills ultimately came up short, they really made Uintah work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-25, 15-10.

Copper Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Uintah, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Copper Hills will challenge Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Uintah, they will take on Richfield in a tournament on Saturday.
