Hackett put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Prairie Grove Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Hackett pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Prairie Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackett will face off against Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lavaca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Prairie Grove, they will square off against Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 11 runs per game.
