Baseball Recap: Rayne Takes a Loss

Rayne has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Teurlings Catholic Rebels. Considering the last time the Wolves couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Rayne's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Teurlings Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Rayne will take on Northside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against North Vermilion at 1:00 p.m.
