Basketball Recap: Trivium Prep Piles Up the Points Against Highland Prep West

Trivium Prep played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-29 win over the Highland Prep West HORNETS. The Crimson Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Madison Hager continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 16 of 29 on her way to 34 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Hager is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Grace Brown was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 14 points along with five assists and four steals.

Trivium Prep's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Highland Prep West, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Trivium Prep has already played their next game, a 64-23 loss against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 18th. Highland Prep West has also already played their next matchup (against Mountainside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
