After a string of six wins, Highlands's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Andrews Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Highlands were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Andrews earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Highlands' goal came courtesy of Aniah McKim, who's now up to 12 this season.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Andrews, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Highlands will challenge rival Tri-County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Andrews is set to face off against their familiar foe Summit Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
