Volleyball Game Preview: Glenn Eagles vs. Hawthorne Cougars

The Glenn Eagles will square off against the Hawthorne Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Glenn came up short against Western on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Hawthorne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Anaheim.

While Hawthorne was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Glenn, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
